At SSBC, we strive to be obedient to the many commands in the Bible to sing to the Lord. We use music and song as a way to draw near to God as we praise Him for what He has done and worship Him for who He is. The music styles in our services are a blend of traditional and contemporary songs led by a worship team of singers and musicians.
Women’s Enrichment Ministry
The purpose of WEM is to encourage women to keep balance between being ministered to and ministering to others; to confront women with the love of Jesus through outreach, Bible Study, mission opportunities, enrichment programs and special events; to minister to the needs of our women; to help women develop and use their God-given gifts in their homes, church, and community; and to involve women in creative service under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Women’s Wednesday Bible Study
Come join us for our weekly study, Wednesday mornings at 10:00am. Contact the church office for more information.
The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to develop meaningful relationships with other Christian men and to encourage men to exercise their God-called roles in their homes, church and communities.

The student ministry of SSBC exists to make disciples by CONNECTING students to Jesus and the church, GROWING them in their relationship with Him, and SERVING in the local church to impact their community and ultimately the nations with the gospel of Christ to the glory of God.
We strive to teach students to know Christ by teaching them the Bible. There are interactive lessons on doctrine, discipleship, and evangelism. Sunday school meets at 9:15 am in the student ministry room upstairs in the gym.
7th-8th grade students may participate in the AWANA Trek program. High school students may either participate in the AWANA Journey program or serve as Student Leaders within the AWANA ministry. Things start at 6:20 in the gym and this program runs during the school year, from August to May. On Wednesday nights during the summer months, 7-12th grade students meet in the gym at 6:30 for games, fellowship, and Bible study.
